There are two very different markets
- new houses in the suburbs or the outskirts of the cities.
This market seems to me not interesting for foreign investors.
There are exceptions, if the investor is very experienced in this field and when there is a chance of buying (or developing) a whole settlement.- Very much asked for are historical townhouses with a size between 200 and 300 sqm.
Prices per sqm might be between 3.000 and 4.500 euro. They can go up to 7.000 euro and more in the mayor cities, if you can find them in well reputated areas ("Adressenlage")
